About the Artist
Sam Keenan
Sam Keenan is a lifelong artist whose creative path has taken many forms from early experiments in recycled materials assemblage sculpture, to years spent in art direction and graphic design, and ultimately, to contemporary impressionist oil painting.

Sam’s background in visual communication informs her approach to painting: each work balances design sensibility with the tactile immediacy of oil on canvas. Her current practice explores perception, memory, and the subtle moments that make up daily experience.

Working from her studio in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, Sam continues to develop A Kind of Seeing, a series that reflects both a personal journal and a philosophical inquiry into how we experience the world.
